University of Essex visit EULEX Mission

As part of ESSEX HUMAN RIGHTS SUMMER SCHOOL, students of Master of Laws and Master of Arts in Human Rights and Humanitarian Law are visiting Kosovo to enable students to learn first-hand about the progress that Kosovo is making in nation-building and to understand the role of various international and national institutions as well as organisations  that operate in Kosovo.

They were briefed about the new mission’s mandate, achievements and challenges by the Spokesperson Ms. Donika Berisha Rizaj. Overview on the political situation and developments in retrospect was given to the students by Mr. Naim Hajdari, whereas a lecture on Human Rights matters was delivered by Ms. Valentina Vitali, Human Rights Officer within the EULEX Mission
