EULEX’s Head of Mission, Ambassador Alexandra Papadopoulou, attended the KFOR Change of Command Ceremony wherein Major General (Italian Army) Guglielmo Luigi Miglietta was relieved by Major General (Italian Army) Giovanni Fungo.  

“It is an honour and a privilege to attend today’s ceremony which recognizes the achievements of committed partners from the International Community, the institutions in Kosovo, and the troop contributing nations for their continuous support,” said Ambassador Papadopoulou.

Ambassador Papadopoulou attended the event alongside the Deputy Head of Mission Bernd Thran whereby they observed a parade which included the symbolic handover of responsibilities from the outgoing to the incoming Commander of the Kosovo force.
