An international pre-trial judge at the Basic Court in Pristina, on the request of the prosecutors, on 10th of October 2013 ordered one month detention on remand for three defendants, suspected of taking part in armed robberies in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Parties have the right to appeal the decision.
The defendants were arrested by the Kosovo Police on 8th of October, on charges of aggravated coercion and assault, causing grievous bodily harm and direct participation in an organised group which committed an aggravated robbery, involving the theft of jewelry (luxury watches) worth over 1.1 Million euro.
The investigation into this case is conducted by Kosovo Police, led by international prosecutors from the Special Prosecution Office in Kosovo (SPRK).
