The Basic Court of Pristina, in a panel composed of EULEX and Kosovo judges, found three people guilty in the so-called Ministry of Health case.
I.T. was found guilty of the criminal offence of incitement to falsify official documents in co-perpetration and tax evasion. He was acquitted of the rest of the charges. I.T. was sentenced to an aggregate punishment of 18 months of imprisonment and a fine of 1000 euros. He is prohibited from exercising public administration or public service functions for the duration of 3 years. The house detention of I.T. is terminated, and a new ruling will be issued.

We have just learned the verdict of the court, where only some of the defendants were found guilty. However, we expected different results. Prosecutor will review the verdict of the court and decide how to proceed with further legal steps.
A.P. was found guilty of two counts of incitement to falsify official documents, one of them in co-perpetration. A.P. was sentenced to an aggregate sentence of 8 months with execution suspended for 2 years. She is prohibited from exercising public administration or public service functions for the duration of 2 years.
H.F. was found guilty of two counts of accepting bribes and acquitted of the rest of the charges. H.F. received an aggregate sentence of 8 months of imprisonment. The defendant is prohibited from exercising public administration or public service functions for the duration of 3 years.
B.B., I.H., Z.K. and B.F. are aquitted of all charges.
The case was prosecuted by a EULEX prosecutor form the Kosovo Special Prosecution Office (SPRK).
