A EULEX vehicle has been attacked and severely damaged by a group of unknown people in Zubin Potok in northern Kosovo. The attack happened on Wednesday morning whilst the vehicle was on its way to the local police station. It was carrying EULEX police officers who were on their way to carry out normal duties at the station. Fortunately, none of the passengers were injured in the attack.

‘An attack on EULEX is an attack on the EU and we condemn it,” said EULEX Chief Spokesperson, Nicholas Hawton.

An investigation has been opened into the attack.
