A EULEX prosecutor from the Kosovo Special Prosecution Office (SPRK) on Friday (10 June) filed an indictment against two individuals related to the so-called Medicus case.
Y.E.S., a citizen from Turkey, and M.H., a citizen of Israel, are defendants in the indictment filed at the Prishtinë/Priština District Court.
The charges against Y.E.S. include Trafficking in Persons, Organised Crime, and Unlawful Exercise of Medical Activity.
M.H. has been charged with Trafficking in Persons and Organised Crime.
These offences were allegedly committed in 2008 at the Medicus Clinic in Prishtinë/Priština and involved victims from various countries.
Warrants of arrest have been issued by the District Court in Prishtinë/Priština and both suspects are subject to international wanted notices, issued by Interpol.
