The Office on Missing Persons and Forensics (OMPF) is co-headed by EULEX and the Ministry of Justice in Kosovo. The OMPF specialises in a diverse range of forensic fields. Its principal objectives are to determine the fate of the missing as a result of the conflict in Kosovo and its aftermath; to strengthen the Rule of Law in Kosovo by providing scientifically sound forensic evidence which may aid in the search for justice and to be at the forefront of Forensic related developments in Kosovo and the Balkan Region.
