"The rule of law remains the biggest challenge that Kosovo faces in getting onto the European track. Progress has been made particularly in the area of police and customs, but I think that there is still some way to go before the citizens of Kosovo can be certain that they are going to have justice without fear of favour. That is what we aim for through our mentoring, monitoring and advising the judges and prosecutors. We are emphasising that, and we are trying to demonstrate that in our own executive work”, said Andy Sparkes, the Acting Head of EULEX during the meeting with Nicolai Wammen, Minister for European Affairs of Denmark, who visited EULEX Headquarters.
