During the summer, representatives from the European Union Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo (EULEX) reached out to students attending different summer academies in Pristina by delivering, as guest speakers, lectures about the Mission’s past and present mandate and role.

In particular, the EULEX’s Chief of Staff, Matthias Zander, and the Acting Head of Press and Public Information Office/Spokesperson, Elisabetta Iurcev, had two separate lively discussions - on 16 July and 11 August respectively - with more than 110 students who participated in the two sessions of the 10th edition of the “Kosovo International Summer Academy”. The Academy was organized by the Kosovo Center of Diplomacy, and it was a great opportunity for students from over 30 countries to learn about “Peacebuilding in Post-Conflict Areas – Diplomacy, Leadership and Negotiations”.

On 20 July,  Iurcev discussed with the students the role of media in conflict prevention and peacebuilding at the Summer Academy “International Diplomacy and National Security” organized by the University of Business and Technology (UBT) in Pristina.
