On 20 March 2024, a delegation from the Swedish and Dutch Police concluded a three-day visit to Kosovo.

The delegation was welcomed at the Mission Headquarters in Pristina by the Head of the European Union Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo (EULEX), Giovanni Pietro Barbano, with whom they discussed the longstanding and committed support of Sweden and the Netherlands to the Mission, as well as areas of cooperation from a policing perspective, including their important contribution to the EULEX Police Advisors North.

During their visit, the delegation’s members met with the EULEX Police Advisors North and were briefed by senior staff members from the Operations Support Pillar, the Monitoring Pillar and the Human Resources Division about the Mission’s work to contribute to security and stability in Kosovo. The Swedish and Dutch Police’s representatives also had the opportunity to visit Mitrovica North and the EULEX Centre Mitrovica.
