For the Formed Police Unit (FPU) of the European Union Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo (EULEX), joint training exercises with NATO-KFOR units are an essential tool to strengthen coordination between the second and third Kosovo’s security responders, as well to retain and further develop their skills.

From 9 to 11 October 2024, FPU Officers held a crowd and riot control joint exercise with the KFOR Polish Military Contingent at the EULEX Center Mitrovica.

On 14 October 2024, FPU Officers and KFOR Units conducted a joint helicopter training to familiarise themselves with the topography of the respective patrol areas and improve navigation skills.
