On 15 and 16 October 2024, the Correctional Unit of the European Union Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo (EULEX) facilitated a working group to support the Internal Inspectorate of the Kosovo’s Ministry of Justice in drafting the Strategic Development Plan for 2024–2026.

The Strategic Development Plan will guide the ongoing development of the Inspectorate, which is expected to result in an increased quality of the inspection thus leading to a positive impact on treatment of prisoners and probationers by the Kosovo Correctional Service and the Kosovo Probation Service.
