On the 10^th of December 2024, International Human Rights Day, the European Union Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo (EULEX) issued a Spotlight Campaign video highlighting valuable insights on the Mission commitment to promoting everyone’s human rights.

The video showcases EULEX's vital role in supporting rule of law institutions in complying with their human rights obligations towards all, without discrimination. In the implementation of its mandate, EULEX focuses on: the rights to fair trial, liberty, freedom from torture and ill-treatment, property and non-discrimination, as well on gender-based violence, accountability for crimes under international law, the rights of prisoners and children’s rights in juvenile justice, the rights of families of missing persons to know the truth, and the right to security.
