EULEX Donates One Vehicle and IT Equipment to Enhance Effectiveness, Accountability and Transparency of Kosovo Judicial Council’s Work

On 3rd of February 2025, as part of its continuous support to enhanced effectiveness, accountability and transparency of the judicial system, the European Union Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo (EULEX) made a significant donation to the Kosovo Judicial Council (KJC).

The donation includes one vehicle and 229 pieces of IT equipment- including, among others, camcorders, cameras, interpretation desks, monitors, portable recorders and speakers - and it aims at facilitating audio-video recording of court sessions, meetings and online video conferences, as well simultaneous interpretations during training, workshops and conference.

During the handover ceremony, the EULEX Deputy Head of Mission, Emily Rakhorst, expressed her appreciation to the Chair of Kosovo Judicial Council, Albert Zogaj, for the ongoing collaboration with the KJC and reiterated the Mission's commitment to continue supporting effectiveness, accountability and transparency of KJC's work.
