On the 14^th  March 2025, the Head of Mission of the European Union Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo (EULEX), Giovanni Pietro Barbano, and the Commander of the NATO-led mission Kosovo Force (KFOR), Major General Enrico Barduani, signed the Revised Joint Operational Procedures between EULEX and KFOR, along with a Memorandum of Understanding governing KFOR’s support and assistance to EULEX.

These revised procedures aim to enhance mutual cooperation and understanding between the two missions in the context of potential joint oper ations, in full accordance with their respective mandates as security responders.

The close collaboration between EULEX and KFOR exemplifies the effective integration of civilian and military efforts to enhance security on the ground, fostering stability and peace through increased interoperability.
