25 March
On 25th of March, in collaboration with the National Blood Transfusion Centre of Kosovo, 35 Mission Members of the European Union Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo (EULEX), including the Deputy Head of Mission, Emily Rakhorst, participated in the 16th EULEX Blood Donation Campaign, reaffirming the Mission dedication to community well-being by offering a lifeline to both people in an emergency and patients who need long-term treatments.
Thanks to the initiative, now a regular tradition, EULEX personnel voluntarily contribute to ensuring that hospitals and medical facilities in Kosovo have the necessary supplies to treat patients. Blood donations are vital for surgeries, cancer treatments, chronic illnesses, and traumatic injuries, ensuring a steady blood supply for emergencies and ongoing medical care.
