From the 15^th to 16^th September 2025, the European Union Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo (EULEX), hosted a two-day visit to Kosovo for Mienetta Groenendaal and Janine Strikwerda, Secondment Managers for Peacekeeping missions, Superintendents of the Netherlands Police.

They were welcomed by EULEX Head of Mission, Giovanni Pietro Barbano, who stressed the cruciality of The Netherlands’ contribution to EULEX through secondment of highly qualified officers, and had the opportunity to be briefed on different aspects of our mandate by the EULEX Deputy Head of Mission, Emliy Rakhorst, and by Senior Management at our HQ.

During their stay, they also visited Mitrovica North where they learned more about Mission’s work on the ground by EULEX Police Advisors North and Coordinator North.
