10 February
On 10 February 2026, the European Union Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo (EULEX), in partnership with the National Blood Transfusion Centre of Kosovo, organised its 18th blood donation campaign.
Building on previous initiatives, EULEX Mission Members once again volunteered to donate blood, making a practical and meaningful contribution to Kosovo’s healthcare institutions. A stable blood supply remains essential for hospitals responding to emergency cases and supporting patients in need of ongoing treatment.
This year’s campaign saw the participation of more than 40 local and international Mission Members, including Deputy Head of Mission Emily Rakhorst, emphasizing EULEX’s continued commitment to solidarity, community support, and life-saving action.
While the impact of each individual donation may not always be immediately visible, every contribution plays a vital role and has the potential to save lives.
EULEX values its long-standing cooperation with the National Blood Transfusion Centre of Kosovo and remains committed to supporting initiatives that make a difference for all communities in Kosovo.
