On 11 June 2026, the Police Advisors Unit (PAU) of European Union Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo (EULEX) organised a round table discussion on community-oriented Policing with Community Policing Officers of the Kosovo Police from the four northern municipalities of North Mitrovica, Leposavic/Leposaviq, Zvečan/Zveçan and Zubin Potok.

The roundtable provided officers with an opportunity to openly exchange experiences, discuss the challenges they face in their daily work and identify opportunities to further strengthen police-community relations. The discussions highlighted the officers' continued attention to community engagement despite operating in a complex environment.

The insights and recommendations gathered during the round table will support EULEX's ongoing advisory work and help shape future community-oriented policing initiatives aimed at strengthening cooperation between the police and the communities they serve.
