On 8 October 2026, Ambassadors and Representatives of Greece, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Bulgaria, Austria, Slovenia, France, Czech Republic, Sweden and Hungary alongside the Minister of Internal Affairs of Kosovo, Xhelal Sveçla visited the European Union Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo (EULEX) Center Mitrovica where they were welcomed by the Head of Mission, Antero Lopes.

The participants had an engaging conversation about the valuable contribution of EULEX Polish Formed Police Unit (FPU) to Kosovo’s stability through the crowd-and-riot capability provided in support of the Kosovo Police, in line with best European practices, to the benefit of all communities.
