Today, EULEX welcomed a group of students of the Post-War Recovery Studies MA programme of the University of York (UK) visiting Kosovo as part of a study visit.
The students had the chance to get insights not only on the work of EULEX, after an overview of the new mandate provided by EULEX spokesperson, Ioanna Lachana, and an introduction on the gender perspective of EULEX’s work offered by the EULEX Gender Advisor, Antonius Van Der Velden, but also on the overall political situation in Kosovo with EULEX Political Advisor Naim Hajdari.
The interest of the students and the lively discussion that followed showed once again the importance of engaging with the youth to promote the rule of law and the commitment of the European Union in the field.
