On 5 November, a team of EULEX case monitors briefed a TAIEX expert mission visiting Kosovo about the findings of its robust monitoring of corruption and organized crime cases.

EULEX’s Case Monitoring Unit carries out robust systemic and thematic monitoring of selected criminal and civil cases and assesses the functioning of the Kosovo judiciary in terms of procedural, legal and human rights compliance. EULEX monitors the entire chain of the criminal justice system, namely on police, prosecutorial and judicial level.
