Personal data protection is of great importance to the European Union Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo. To further promote this, the Mission implemented a small-scale project in partnership with the Information and Privacy Agency of Kosovo.

Part of the project activities is a month-long campaign, which envisages the placement of billboards throughout Kosovo. The aim of the campaign is to inform the local population about their fundamental rights when it comes to their personal data. The campaign also includes the contact details of the Information and Privacy Agency, where people can file a complaint if they think their personal data is being misused.
