Today, EULEX Head of Mission, Alexandra Papadopoulou handed over to Ms. Feride Hyseni, Chairperson of the Red Cross of Kosovo, the EULEX’s latest donation as part of its yearly charity event.  This has now become a traditional feature of the Mission’s efforts to contribute in tangible ways to initiatives assisting Kosovo people in need – in parallel to its daily work with Kosovo rule of law counterparts.

This hard work is “As a result of EULEX staff members’ generosity the Mission collected this time 9,000 euros, which, just like all past donations made by the Mission, will be put to very good use by the Red Cross for those who need help the most in Kosovo”, said Ms. Papadopoulou.

This charity event was made possible thanks to continuous efforts by the EULEX Recreational Advisory Board and as a driving force behind the organization of this yearly event. This was also enabled with the enormous support of the EULEX’s national contingents of Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden, The Netherlands, UK, and local Kosovo colleagues.
