On 31 July, the EULEX Medical Unit held a medical training course for staff members of the Kosovo Correctional Service (KCS) in the Pristina Detention Center.

As part of a series of ongoing medical training courses, 10 non-medical staff members of the KCS learned how to provide an emergency first aid response and got to practice more the ERC Protocol for Basic Life Support.

The EULEX-led medical training courses will continue in the upcoming months in other Kosovo correctional facilities.
