On 08 July 2021, the Carabinieri General Commander, Lieutenant General Teo Luzi, paid a visit to the Carabinieri troops serving in Kosovo, within KFOR in the Multinational Specialized Unit and within the European Union Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo (EULEX). The Carabinieri Corps has been supporting EULEX with seconded personnel since 2008.
