On 5 July, an EULEX delegation led by the Head of Mission, Giovanni Pietro Barbano, met with a NATO delegation led by NATO Assistant Secretary General for Operations, Tom Goffus.

The interlocutors agreed on the importance of maintaining the excellent cooperation between EULEX and KFOR in the interest of the security of all communities in Kosovo. 

The Head of EULEX stressed that the Mission will continue to carry out a robust monitoring of selected cases which covers the entire chain of criminal justice, with a focus on cases involving Kosovo Serbs, or possibly affecting inter-communal relations through its Case Monitoring Unit.
