EULEX hosts a group of Universum College students

20 May

On 19 May we were happy to open our doors to 14 students from Universum College, who came to our Mission headquarters to learn more about our mandate, see the premises and meet some of our colleagues. What made this visit even more special for us was the presence of the two accompanying professors, who were former EULEX staff members, which gave us a chance to reconnect.

The students were warmly greeted by our Deputy Head of Mission, Cezary Luba, who briefly spoke to the students about how professionally fulfilling it is to work for a multifaceted Mission such as EULEX.

A detailed presentation including video stories on EULEX’s mandate and work was given to the students by the Mission Spokesperson, Donika Berisha Rizaj who also gave the students the opportunity to ask a variety of questions. They were interested to know more about the Mission’s achievements and obstacles. Since this is their last semester and they are close to graduation, the students were very eager to learn about EULEX’s local  internship programme and how they can become a part of it in the future.

The study visit ended with a full tour of our premises, where the group had also the chance to meet many of our colleagues.

We look forward to hosting you again!
