A pre-trial judge at Mitrovica Basic Court granted the application on June 13 for an extension of two months detention on remand for S.S.. S.S was arrested on 15 May 2014 by Kosovo Police in Zubin Potok. The defendant is being investigated for committing a number of serious criminal offences, including Endangering UN and Associated Personnel, Obstructing Official Person in Performing Official Duties, participating in a crowd committing a criminal offence, attacking EULEX personnel and property, and participating in a violent escape. The defendant appealed against the decision.
