Officers from the EULEX Police Executive Department and EULEX Special Police Department have arrested an individual in northern Kosovo. The man, who is in his late twenties, faces charges relating to attempted murder, unauthorised possession of weapons and causing general danger.

The arrest took place this afternoon, Monday 4th October. The investigation is being carried out by EULEX police under the supervision of a EULEX prosecutor at the Mitrovica District Court. The arrest warrant was issued by a EULEX Pre-Trial judge in the District Court of
Mitrovica

The individual was also the subject of an international arrest warrant. He will appear before a EULEX pre-trial judge at the earliest opportunity.
