Under the supervision of the Special Prosecutor’s Office in Kosovo (SPRK) EULEX Police have been carrying out a search in the residence of a former KLA commander. This search is connected to the ongoing Bllaca investigation.

The searches were duly authorized by a pre-trial Judge in the District Court of Pristina.

A EULEX special prosecutor is present at the scene in order to ensure the effective gathering of evidential material and provide a full and proper explanation to persons present at the scene.

Following the end of the search of a former KLA commander’s residence this morning, a summons to appear before the Special Prosecutor was duly served on the suspect. The latter must appear within a week of its delivery.
