EULEX Programme Office and Police Strengthening Department officers delivered a lecture on the Mission's monitoring, mentoring and advising activities on the occasion of training for Municipal Councils for Safety in Communities(MCSC) members.

MCSC are consultative bodies to be formed in all Kosovo municipalities, in order to foster dialogue between Kosovo Police, municipal authorities and civil society on security issues.

The three-day training (22 -24 March) was held at the Kosovo Center for Public Safety, Education and Development in Vushtrri/Vucitrn, and provided MCSC participants from Obiliq/Obilic, Peja/Pec, Mitrovica, and Gjilan/Gnjilane with administrative and management skills, as well as information about various institutions relevant for MCSC's scope of action.
