Early this morning, under the supervision of a EULEX prosecutor from the Kosovo Special Prosecution Office (SPRK), EULEX police officers from the Organised Crime Investigation Unit and Special Police Unit carried out a search in northern Kosovo in the village Doljane, near Zvecan. The search was conducted in the context of an on-going investigation related to organised crime, aggravated theft, smuggling of goods and drugs trafficking.

The search, authorised by a EULEX pre-trial judge, lead to the seizure of two weapons, ammunition and documentation.
