Two people have been arrested by Kosovo Police in connection with an investigation into corruption. The offences being investigated are: Abusing of Official Position or Authority and Trading in Influence.

These charges are in connection with the alleged misconduct of a local Kosovo Special Prosecutors Office (SPRK) prosecutor and two others who, allegedly, extorted sums of money from a suspect in a case.

The investigation is being carried out by the EULEX Prosecution Office in Prizren together with the EULEX Prosecution Office in Peja/Pec.
