A EULEX judge on the 9th of November confirmed an indictment on an extortion case filed at the District Court of Gjilan/Gnjilane, and has declared all the presented evidence as admissible.

The indictment, which was filed by a EULEX prosecutor from the Special Prosecution Office of Kosovo (SPRK), charges the defendants, father and son, B.T. and N.T., with extortion against two victims for an amount of 20.000 Euros.

According to the Criminal Code of Kosovo, Extortion (Article 267) is punishable by imprisonment of one to ten years.
