 A mixed panel of EULEX and Kosovo judges of the Prishtinë/Priština District Court yesterday found A.A. and V.F. not guilty of the charges of Abuse of Official Duty or Authority, pursuant to Article 339, paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code of Kosovo (CCK).

The panel of judges found A.A. not guilty as there was insufficient evidence to prove that he had the requisite intent to obtain unlawful material benefit for another person, that he had abused his official position, and that he exceeded the limits of his authorizations.

V.F. has been found not guilty as there was insufficient evidence to prove that she had the requisite intent to obtain unlawful material benefit for another person or business organization, that she abused her official position and that she failed to execute her official duties.

The parties may appeal in 15 days from the moment the written judgement will be served to them.
