Today, the Kosovo Police Economic and Corruption Investigation Directorate from the Gjilane/Gniljane region has been carrying out a search at the PPMD company located in Shterpce/Strpce. The search was in connection with a criminal investigation into money laundering, tax evasion and organised crime.

The search was authorized by a EULEX pre-trial Judge from the District Court of Pristina.

The Kosovo Special Prosecution Office (SPRK) is leading the investigation.
