At the request of the prosecutor, a EULEX pre-trial judge at the District Court of Peja/Pec has ordered a 30-day detention for the Kosovo Serb male who was extradited from Norway yesterday (13 July).

The individual is accused of committing war crimes against the civilian population on 28 March 1999 in the region of Peja/Pec.

The prosecution is represented by the Kosovo Special Prosecution Office (SPRK).
