Yesterday, Kosovo Police and investigators from EULEX Organised Crime Investigation Unit conducted search and arrest operations in the region of Prishtinë/Priština and Podujevë/Podujevo.

Two individuals were arrested and four premises were searched. The operation is part of an on-going investigation into March 2004 murder of Kosovo Police officer and UNMIK Police officer while on a joint patrol in Podujevë/Podujevo region.

The investigation is being conducted by an prosecutor from Kosovo Special Prosecution Office (SPRK).

The detention hearing will take place this morning at 11:00 in the ABC cinema.
